Innovative Rain Shelter | Wind Resistant | No Middle Leakage

This is a new type of rain shelter with an upgraded structure.

The core design uses two layers of woven film with a breathable mesh in between, plus an additional woven layer on top, forming a "membrane – mesh – membrane" structure.

It still functions as a standard rain cover, but the upgraded structure is designed to solve common issues in real applications, such as wind resistance and water leakage.

In addition to this design, there is another version of the rain shelter.

The main difference is that it does not include the middle mesh layer. Instead, the structure is directly open in the middle, without mesh connection, while the outermost layer is covered with HDPE woven film to ensure rain protection.

This version offers a simpler structure and is suitable for applications where ventilation and cost efficiency are prioritized.

Better wind resistance | releases air pressure

When the shelter is used outdoors, air naturally moves inside due to wind.

For traditional rain shelters, the structure is closed. Air gets trapped inside and builds pressure on the top. When wind becomes strong, the film can be lifted or even torn.

With this design, the middle section is open, allowing air to pass through directly and release pressure.

Instead of being trapped inside, the wind can flow out through the structure, significantly reducing internal pressure.

As a result, the risk of damage is much lower, and the overall structure becomes more stable under strong wind conditions.

Integrated design | no more leakage in the middle

Normally, traditional shelters need two sheets to build an arch shape. No matter how you connect them, the middle joint is always a weak point, and rain can leak from there.

This design is made as one piece.No middle connection, no gap, so the leakage problem is solved directly from the structure.

To ensure reliable rain protection, the top HDPE woven layer is reinforced with webbing, stitched at intervals of 0.8m or 1m.

This reinforcement helps distribute wind force evenly across the surface, preventing the top layer from being lifted or displaced under strong wind.

As a result, even with the open structure in the middle, the upper rainproof layer remains firmly in place, avoiding gaps and
preventing rain from entering.

This design achieves both effective pressure relief and stable waterproof performance in outdoor conditions.

Fengcheng Plastics at Hong Kong International Fruit Expo 2025

In September 2025, Fengcheng Plastics participated in the Hong Kong International Fruit Expo (Asia Fruit Logistica) from
4–6September. At booth 3Z14 in Hall C, the company showcased woven rain-shelter film, anti-hail nets, bird nets, shade nets, greenhouse films, and other farm-use coverings. Over three days, more than 200 visitors from 15 countries and regions stopped by, generating over USD 5 million in prospective deals.

Following the exhibition, Fengcheng Plastics successfully established cooperation with several clients. One client from Poland visited the company in China, placing orders for C hooks, elastic rope balls, fence nets, and stretch films.
